Today has been an awesome day for finding things. I found a big black glove, the picture of I accidently deleted. I did not pick it up because I don't need it, and someone else may find it who does. [Finding Rule #1: If you do not have a use for it, leave it. Hopefully someone else will.] The glove was found on 57th & Ellis, on the side of the sidewalk, in case it may be yours.

In Crerar library, laying centrally on the path to the downstairs computer areas, I find a pack of Trident Spearmint gum, with five pieces left. I didn't expect it to actually contain any gum; I picked it up to recycle it. I don't really chew gum anymore, but what a nice surprise!

Sitting in the library, I realized that I do not have a badly needed highlighter with me. " Damn! What I'd really like to find is a highlighter!" Ask and you shall receive..eventually. I found this nicely working pink highlighter left on top of one of the working areas in the RC student activities center.

And lastly, some orange strawberry banana juice (half the bottle) on top of a garbage can. I wonder if it really counts as a "find," but hopefully this will encourage people to leave unwanted comestibles on top of waste receptacles, instead of in them.
